This piece reflects one current focus of my work—paintings and print images of Yakima Canyon and 2,000-acre Cowiche Canyon Conservancy, supported by a 25-year-old non-profit group dedicated to preserving and enhancing the natural terrain of the Yakima Valley region. This particular piece depicts the start of an 85-mile trail system the group is building between Cowiche Canyon and Mount Rainier in conjunction with the William O Douglas Trail foundation.
